Dr. Manojlovich Receives Funding for Work with VA

Dr. Milisa Manojlovich received funding to expand and enhance systems redesign capability at the VA Ann Arbor Healthcare System. This initiative will build upon a current commitment to Lean principles and through a series of initiatives intended to improve interdisciplinary collaboration and teamwork, patient flow, and patient outcomes. A key component in this effort is the creation on a redesigned inpatient service – the “Gold Service” – that could eventually become a national model for how inpatient care should be provided in the 21st century.
