School’s Clinical Learning Experience Featured in UMHS Publication

The InsideView gets the scoop on how the School of Nursing is using simulation to train better nurses.

Since the fall of 2008, the University of Michigan School of Nursing has been using simulation technology to help students practice the skills they will rely on both during clinical experiences and throughout the rest of their careers as nurses. Because of the success of the initial efforts, the school has since engaged in research to help improve and expand the virtual world training experience. University of Michigan Health System (UMHS) reporter, Bruce Spiher, spoke to Dr. Michelle Aebersold, and instructor Betsy Cambridge to learn more about this innovative approach to nursing education.
