PhD Student Named Member of NACNEP
Monica F. Rochman BSN, RN, and PhD student in the School of Nursing's Nursing Systems and Health Policy program was made a member of the National Advisory Council on Nurse Education Practice (NACNEP) committee at large. Monica has acquired clinical experience in a variety of health care settings including emergency nursing, long-term care, quality assurance, policy development, and clinical research. In an effort to enhance her policy skills, she participated in an internship with the Congressional Research Service through the National Academy of Social Insurance (NASI). In early June, she co-hosted a Health Care Kick-off meeting for Organizing for America in the Ann Arbor community. She is also a graduate student instructor for second career students and her research interests include quality of care, nurse migration and nursing workforce.
