Doctoral Candidate Becomes Director of the Adult Cancer Survivorship Program

Patty Clark, RN, MSN, APRN-BC, has been named the Adult Cancer Survivorship Program Director. Patty earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing Degree from Baylor University, her Master's of Science in Nursing from the University of Texas in Arlington, and is currently a Doctoral Candidate at the University of Michigan's School of Nursing.

Patty brings extensive clinical oncology experience to the position, including work at Baylor University Medical Center, the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute and more recently as a Nurse Practitioner in the Chemoprevention Program of the U-M Breast Care Center and as a consultant in the development of the Patient & Family Support Services Survivorship program in 2007. Throughout her career, Patty has been involved in a variety of research initiatives. Her current research interests include cancer related changes in cognitive function.

In her role as director of the survivorship program, Patty will work with the clinical and research teams of the Breast and Urologic Oncology Survivorship Programs as they continue developing a model for survivorship care delivery.
