Doctoral Candidate Selected for Prestigious Midwest Nursing Research Society Dissertation Grant

Jesse Moes U-M School of Nursing doctoral candidate wins MNRS dissertation grantJesse Moes, a doctoral candidate at the U-M School of Nursing, was awarded a Midwest Nursing Research Society Dissertation Grant. His proposal, “Insulin Resistance in Rats with Neuropathic Pain,” was one of two selected for this prestigious grant. Jesse will be presented with the award on March 26 in Columbus, Ohio.

The Midwest Nursing Research Society (MNRS) has more than 1,300 members and is one of the largest and most influential nursing research organizations in the country. It serves individuals in thirteen Midwest region states and has been transforming how nursing is practiced since 1975 through promoting, disseminating, and using nurse research and by encouraging, supporting, and connecting the next generation of nurse scientists.
