Statement on U-M School of Nursing students and COVID-19
In a time of uncertainty around the COVID-19 impact on health care, this notice is to remind us that the quality, safety and effectiveness of care provided to patients is foremost in all that we do.
The University of Michigan School of Nursing students, undergraduate or graduate, will continue their clinical rotations and learning experiences at Michigan Medicine as usual in the months ahead.
However, students will not be assigned to any patients that have known or suspected COVID-19 during this viral epidemic.
Please note that this is to become effective immediately.
