Recapping Welcome Week at the U-M School of Nursing
This week, we welcomed new and familiar faces to campus with a number of in-person and virtual activities to celebrate the start of a public health-informed fall term at the U-M School of Nursing.
Throughout the week, students had the opportunity to connect with faculty and staff while learning more about valuable resources available at the School of Nursing and across campus. Check out our Welcome Week recap below to see how we celebrated and catch up on anything you might have missed.
- If you missed the resource fair, you can explore resources available for current nursing students online.
- Be sure to familiarize yourself with the many student resources and opportunities related to diversity, equity and inclusion.
- Mental health resources and self-care strategies from the School of Nursing’s embedded CAPS counselor Dr. Kristen Adams.
- Second-year DNP student Holly Carlson focused on community, discussing how to find one’s place and identity as a grad student at the U-M School of Nursing. Watch the recording.
