  • EBP
  • Nursing curriculum

Dr. Ann Kruszewski's primary focus is on nursing education, a field in which she has over thirty-five years of experience. She has been involved in many curriculum development projects at the School of Nursing and co-developed the course N672 Teaching Strategies in Nursing. Dr. Kruszewski has developed and taught evidence based practice courses in the BSN Traditional and Second Degree Nursing curricula at U-M, and has been engaged in EBP projects at health care settings all over the state of Michigan. In addition to her engagement within the U-M and Michigan communities, she has presented on evidence-based practice topics at the local, state, and national levels.

Teaching

Dr. Kruszewski has taught Evidence-Based Practice and Nursing Research courses in the RN Studies program for the past twenty-three years. As an educator, Dr. Kruszewski's focus is on teaching adult learners; she values their unique backgrounds and enjoys tailoring learning experiences according to students' strengths and interests. One of her most rewarding experiences is seeing former students continue work on professional activities begun during their U-M education. Overall, Dr. Kruszewski values intellectual curiosity in her students. Because nursing knowledge is growing exponentially, she believes that today's nursing graduates need to value life-long learning.
