Sheila Kellogg is the Chief Nurse Anesthetist of the University Hospital, CardioVascular Center, East Ann Arbor Surgery Center, Kellogg Eye Center, and Brighton Center for Specialty Care.  She’s been a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) since 1997.  She has a comprehensive clinical background in level one trauma center care and ambulatory anesthesia services.  She believes in collaborative leadership across disciplines.  She provides leadership and student mentoring and facilitates educational support for constant changing patient care needs.  She actively participates in departmental compliance and regulatory standards to assure a high level of safe patient care.  She has a special interest in how communication contributes to patient safety and instills that message throughout her teams.
