Supporting a sustainable future for research in Thailand
Supported by three successive grants from the National Institutes of Health’s Fogarty International Center, Professor Kathleen Potempa and a team of U-M School of Nursing faculty are leading efforts to strengthen research capacity in two Southeast Asian countries and build a framework for sustainable science surrounding noncommunicable diseases.

Alum's experience leads to new opportunity for DNP students
While pursuing her Doctor of Nursing Practice degree, Sarah Warnez was determined to carry out her capstone project abroad. In the process, she helped lay the foundation for a newly designed global health concentration that's now available to students who share her passion.
