Commencement Information for Friends and Family
The U-M School of Nursing is excited to honor the collective achievements of the Class of 2024 at the School of Nursing Spring Commencement Ceremony that will be held on Saturday, May 4, 2024, at 1:30 p.m. at Hill Auditorium.
Doors will open for guests at approximately 12:45 p.m.
LIVE STREAMING
The U-M School of Nursing will be live-streaming commencement through the U-M YouTube channel. A recording will be available to view after the commencement ceremony.
Accessibility Support for Guests
The University of Michigan wants to ensure that all graduates, candidates and guests can participate fully in Commencement. The following arrangements are made in cooperation with the Accessibility Task Force of the Council for Disability Concerns.
The doors at the WEST entrance (off Thayer) will open at 12:30 p.m. for any guests with mobility limitations (wheelchair, walker, etc.) so that they can be seated before we open the doors to the general public. By entering Hill Auditorium from the WEST entrance you will be nearest the ramps into the auditorium. Ushers will be available to assist in locating wheelchair-accessible seating and restrooms for guests.

Closed captioning will be provided and a sign language interpreter will be signing on stage.
Reception
All graduates, family and friends are invited to attend the School of Nursing Commencement Reception to be held on the second floor of the Michigan League immediately following the ceremony. Students must register the number of guests expected to attend when they complete the online RSVP form to participate in the Nursing Ceremony.
