Master’s Students Lisa Hellebuyck and Erica Wikan Receive Mary Jane Schwertfeger Awards from the Rackham Graduate School

Antidepressant Helps Relieve Pain from Chemotherapy, Study Finds

ANN ARBOR, Mich. — The antidepressant drug duloxetine, known commercially as Cymbalta, helped relieve painful tingling feelings caused by chemotherapy in 59 percent of patients. This is the first clinical trial to find an effective treatment for this pain.

May 31, 2012The Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education’s (CCNE) Board of Commissioners granted accreditation to the baccalaureate and master’s degree programs at the U-M School of Nursing for 10 years, extending to June 30, 2022.*
These accreditation actions are effective as of October 2, 2011. At its meeting in April, the Board determined that the programs met all four accreditation standards.
